Numerous members of the Los Angeles Rams earned spots on the NFL.com Top 101 free agents for the 2019 season.

Whether it involves decisions on current players worth re-signing or simply looking at the open market to fill a few team needs, the Los Angeles Rams have plenty of big decisions to make over the next couple of weeks when it comes to the upcoming free agency period.

Around this time last year, the Rams made it clear right away they were in a win-now mode by wiling to consider any move that would increase their chances of earning a trip to the Super Bowl, ranging from trades to key signings.

In a matter of weeks, Los Angeles will have some sort of better idea over which players they will be considering in free agency for the 2019 season, and in what shouldn’t come as a surprise at all, they also have some of the best current options available.

To help prepare fans for the upcoming free agency period, the folks at NFL.com conducted a list of the top 101 players available for the 2019 season, and to no one’s surprise, the Rams saw numerous members as part of the rankings.

In fact, Los Angeles saw three key players in Ndamukong Suh (16), Lamarcus Joyner (18), and Rodger Saffold (27) earning honors in the top 30, showing one again the kind of talent this team has been able to put together over the last couple of years.

Of course, just because the Rams have these three players in the top 30 doesn’t necessarily mean they’re all guaranteed to return, as this will be one of numerous tough decisions facing the team from now until the middle of March when the new year begins for free agency.

Does Suh deserve another hefty short-term deal similar to last year? How about heavily investing in Joyner to keep the safety around for the long run, despite not being as effective on defense in 2018 while playing under the franchise tag?

As for Saffold, will the Rams focus on bringing him back for a 10th season, or will they decide to go younger by focusing their attention elsewhere?

All of these questions will be answered for Los Angeles in a matter of weeks since wanting to bring all these key players back is always easier said than done, especially when it comes to money.

No matter what happens in a few weeks, whether one, two, or all three of these players are still part of the picture, the good news for the Rams is they will still be in great position to compete for another run at the Super Bowl during the 2019 season.
