3 potential free agent targets for Rams from Chargers in 2019

Here are three potential free agent targets for the Los Angeles Rams to target from the Los Angeles Chargers in 2019.

Even though they don’t play in the same division, the Los Angeles Rams and Los Angeles Chargers playing in the same city is going to make this quite an entertaining rivalry for years to come, especially since both teams are currently playoff contenders.

While the Rams managed to earn a trip to Super Bowl 53 before falling to the New England Patriots the way they did, the Chargers deserve plenty of credit as well for earning a trip to the Divisional Round after living up to the hype for a change.

In previous seasons, the Chargers were always one of those teams that seemed to have the talent to work with on both sides of the football, yet would always seem to come up short in reaching the playoffs as a result of losing key games they normally should win.

Once again, expectations will be higher than ever for both the Rams and Chargers heading into the 2019 season. And even though these teams won’t be meeting in the regular season, there’s always the chance of them facing off in Miami if each team happens to punch a ticket for the Super Bowl.

Of course, whether or not that happens could come down to what kind of offseason the two teams put together since the Rams and Chargers both have a few areas in need of improvement, which is why the upcoming free agency period will be so important.
