3. Cody Ford, Oklahoma

Similar to Williams, Cody Ford entered this year’s combine as one of the top prospects on the offensive line after looking at the impact made over the years with the Sooners at Oklahoma.

Despite his shoulder bothering him on the bench press that limited him to just 15 repetitions, the good news for Ford is it seems minor enough where he’s willing to re-do his performance on the bench during his Pro Day later this month.

Could this result in Ford’s draft stock taking a little bit of a hit? This may seem concerning for Ford since plenty of other players are dealing with the complete opposite in which they made a strong name for themselves in Indianapolis, but also this occurring could actually work out to the advantage of Los Angeles in the first round if the interest were there.

Ford’s size and athleticism alone make him an attractive option for teams in need help of the offensive line, as all signs point to him being off the board by the conclusion of the opening night for the draft.

Plus, when looking at some of the heavy praise Ford has received for the work he puts in to make the ground game better, this seems like a player Gurley would love to see around for years to come.
