2. Chris Lindstrom, Boston College

At the moment, signs point to Saffold being too expensive for the Rams to keep around, although nothing is set in stone at the moment.

Even though Saffold has been around for quite some time with the team, his level of play from the previous two seasons has stood out the most after looking at the role he’s played in helping the offensive line turn into one of the top units in the league.

Unfortunately, the business side of the NFL could come into play if Saffold ends up on a new team for the 2019 season, but at least with rookies such as Chris Lindstrom being available in the draft to help fill the void if needed, this could help Los Angeles feel a little better about the situation.

Believe it or not, the Boston College star displayed one of the most impressive times in the 40-yard dash (4.91) for offensive lineman, and while the 25 repetitions on the bench press could have helped set Lindstrom apart from the others, it’s not all terrible.

With his athletic ability, Lindstrom could become an option for the Rams if they’re looking for a solid interior lineman, whether Saffold is back or not.
