Here are three reasons the Los Angeles Rams shouldn’t be concerned over the Arizona Cardinals showing interest in Antonio Brown.
At this moment in the offseason, the Los Angeles Rams haven’t expressed interest in bringing Antonio Brown on board for the 2019 season, but this won’t stop another team from the division expressing interest to potentially make the NFC West a little more interesting.
Originally, the San Francisco 49ers seemed like the team from the NFC West with the best chance of landing Brown to provide Jimmy Garoppolo with a reliable No. 1 wideout to work with, but it looks like the Arizona Cardinals are expressing the most interest.
With the NFL Combine taking place this past weekend, the Cardinals were listed as one of a few teams that seemed to be expressing the most interest in a potential trade with the Pittsburgh Steelers to acquire Brown, which of course is easier said than done.
When taking into consideration the drama Brown has already brought to the table that has resulted in all of these trade talks, one can only imagine how things will go in the next couple of weeks while the Steelers attempt to find a partner.
After finishing with the worst record in the NFL during the 2018 season to help secure the top overall draft pick in the upcoming draft, there’s no question that Brown would provide another dangerous weapon to the offense.
But as far as how much the Rams should be concerned over the possibility of Brown joining the NFC West, well here are three reasons why the Cardinals wouldn’t even be considered a threat if this were to happen, at least for now.
