1. Rams are NFC champions for a reason

How bad did things get for the Cardinals during the 2018 season against the Rams? Seeing how Los Angeles outscored Arizona 65-9 in the two meetings, this is just one of many examples that show how the Rams are on a completely different level than the Cardinals at the moment from a competitive standpoint.

Could Arizona get to that same level as Los Angeles one day? Absolutely, since the team hopes having the top overall pick on top of the hiring of Kliff Kingsbury helps put this team on the necessary path to become a top contender in the NFC once again.

Of course, the Cardinals know they have quite the work cut out for them before the team can even become close to being part of that conversation since the Rams have proven over the last two seasons their patience has paid off in one of the best ways possible.

Not only does Los Angeles have one of the league’s top offenses led by Jared Goff and Todd Gurley, but Aaron Donald continues to keep the Rams’ defense in great shape as a top unit as well.

In comparison to the Rams, the Cardinals are nowhere close to being on this kind of level from a talent perspective, and it’s tough to imagine this becoming a possibility anytime soon since Los Angeles has numerous key players locked up for years to come.

The day may come down the road in which Arizona moves ahead of Los Angeles, but for now, it’s not even close between the NFC West rivals, and the Rams hope to keep it that way.
