2019 NFL Mock Draft 2.0: Garrett Bradbury intriguing option for Los Angeles Rams

13. Miami Dolphins: Florida Defensive Lineman Jachai Polite
Remember when the Miami Dolphins seemed like a surprise contender in the AFC last season following a 3-0 start? Unfortunately, the hot start by the Dolphins didn’t last, as the team would go on to win just four more games over the remainder of the regular season, and with all of the questions on both sides of the football, it doesn’t look like 2019 will be much better.
For starters, all signs point to Miami finally being done with Ryan Tannehill after all these years, and time will tell when it comes to seeing if the team decides to find a potential replacement in the draft, whether it’s in the first round or later on.
If the Dolphins decide to go defense right away, it’s tough to ignore the kind of talent that Jachai Polite could bring to the table, even if his trip to the combine was a forgettable one.
Plenty of teams may shy away from the Florida defender based from what they saw in Indianapolis alone, but it’s tough to ignore someone who recorded 11 sacks as a junior.
Potential wise, Polite has a rare kind of talent, and despite what happened in Indianapolis, Miami has nothing to lose with a risky pick like this one.
