17. Cleveland Browns: Washington State Offensive Lineman Andre Dillard
Isn’t it amazing to see the Cleveland Browns this high on the list since they used always to finish with one of the worst records in the league?
All of a sudden, expectations are higher than ever for the Browns heading into 2019 after finally putting together a successful of enough season to actually be in the playoff hunt late last year, even if it was a long shot.
For years, Cleveland has struggled to find the right quarterback to build the offense around, and after all of the searching, Baker Mayfield finally seems to be the answer this team has been waiting for.
Like most rookies, Mayfield certainly has a few areas in need of improvement before the Browns are on a high enough level to be considered a serious threat in the AFC, but just watching the former Oklahoma quarterback bring much-needed spark to the offense was amazing to see.
Now, it’s up to Cleveland as an organization to make sure Mayfield has the proper protection moving forward since the pressure will be on to make sure he has a successful sophomore campaign.
Andre Dillard received high praise for his performance in Indianapolis, as it’s safe to say his draft stock will continue to be on the rise over the next couple of weeks. And if the Browns were to go in the direction of the Washington State lineman, Mayfield would be in great shape for years to come thanks to Dillard.
