7. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ole Miss Wide Receiver D.K. Metcalf

Could the Jacksonville Jaguars decide to go with a new quarterback of the future with his selection since Blake Bortles clearly isn’t the answer for this team under center? This could very well happen for the Jaguars to help them get back on the right track after taking a major step back in 2018, but also keep in mind the recent rumors surrounding Nick Foles possibly joining the team.

After the Philadelphia Eagles decided to let the former Super Bowl MVP hit the open market, Jacksonville has been viewed as the top landing spot for Foles, especially since he would be reuniting with his former quarterbacks coach in John DeFilippo.

Watching these two work together towards the end of the 2017 season to help bring the Eagles their first Super Bowl title in franchise history was truly incredible to witness, and there’s nothing the Jaguars would love more than to see similar results this upcoming year.

Of course, if Jacksonville were to end up winning the Foles sweepstakes, the next challenge would be to make sure he has the proper weapons on offense to work with.

D.K. Metcalf may seem like a stretch going this high in the first round, but his work ethic on display at the combine makes it seem like Foles would love this kind of target to work with, that is if he does in fact choose the Jaguars.
