Los Angeles Rams: 15 best free agent acquisitions of all-time
By Dan Parzych
Let the record show that if Ndamukong Suh were around longer than just one season, chances are he would be much higher on this list. He was a great fit on defense for the Rams in 2018.
Back in the 2018 offseason when Suh was released by the Miami Dolphins, Los Angeles was viewed as a long shot to land the veteran defender. This was mainly because his asking price seemed like it would be way too high.
Luckily, the Rams were able to convince Suh to come on board for a one-year deal. As much as the team would love to have him around for the long run, it will be interesting to see how all this plays out.
One of the main reasons why Los Angeles was so excited about Suh at the time was due to their win-now mindset. The Rams were willing to bring any player on board that seemed capable of helping the team earn a trip to the Super Bowl.
Coming up short against the New England Patriots the way they did was devastating for obvious reasons. At least Suh made his presence felt on the defensive side of the football throughout the season, while benefitting Aaron Donald in the process.
