5 defensive options still available for Los Angeles Rams to consider in 2019

5. Zach Brown
After failing to find a trade partner, the Washington Redskins made the decision to move on from Zach Brown after two seasons, as the team seems to have felt that moving on would be best for both parties.
Two years ago, Brown was considered one of the most underrated linebackers on the free agency market, and rightfully so since he was coming off a Pro Bowl year as a member of the Buffalo Bills in which he recorded four sacks along with four pass deflections.
During his first season with the Redskins, Brown displayed a ton of potential, and it was one of the main reasons why he received a three-year deal the following offseason from the organization, although it didn’t take the team long to eventually move on.
Brown’s numbers from the previous two seasons certainly don’t stand out like some of the other linebackers across the league, but this could very well be another under the radar moves by the Rams if they were to express some sort of interest.
If anything, Brown would provide some great depth to the position, and certainly have the potential to fit in on a Rams’ defense that was considered one of the best in 2018 once again under Wade Phillips.
