3. Timmy Jernigan

Declining the 2019 option on Timmy Jernigan certainly wasn’t easy for the Philadelphia Eagles after looking back at his role in helping the team bring home their first Super Bowl title during the 2017 season, although they did make out well by replacing him with Malik Jackson.

Still, as difficult as this decision was for the Eagles, it’s only a matter of time before Jernigan ends up on a new team since there are plenty of teams that could use his services to put the defense in better position next season.

Does this mean the Rams would ever consider the former Florida State star? Well, if Suh ends up taking more money to join another team, Jernigan could very well be a solid replacement at defensive tackle, and seems like he would help take some of the pressure off Aaron Donald.

At 26, what makes this possibility even more intriguing for Los Angeles is the fact that Jernigan is still young enough where he could even be around for the long run if everything were to go according to plan.

Price wise, Jernigan may be too much for the Rams to consider, but also maybe they would be able to catch a break at a discounted price.
