1. Brandon Marshall

Ever since the Denver Broncos decided to move on from Brandon Marshall, the linebacker was immediately linked as a potential fit for the Rams on defense to help fill their need at the position.

Since the 2014 season, Marshall has been a key member of the Broncos’ defense, and while the team felt the need to part ways after all these years, this decision in no way means he still doesn’t have some great playing left in him.

Plus, not only does Marshall know what it takes to win a Super Bowl like Matthews, but also the veteran is familiar with Phillips’ defensive system from the time the two spent working together in Denver a few years back before the coach took the job in Los Angeles with the Rams.

Without question, Phillips would love the opportunity to reunite with his former linebacker as a member of the Rams since he would immediately know what would need to be done to help bring out the best in him on defense.

Sooner or later, some team is going to decide Marshall is worth giving a chance to in 2019, and while Los Angeles has plenty of great options to choose from, this one seems worthy of being the best.
