3. David Fales

In comparison to other quarterbacks available in free agency, David Fales doesn’t stand out like some of the others, but also seems to be catching the attention of teams in need of a backup.

From an experience perspective, some teams are hesitant to give Fales a chance since his most action to date came this past season with the Miami Dolphins by appearing in two games while throwing for 265 yards with a touchdown and interception.

Clearly, this may not seem like the most attractive option for the Rams since the situation doesn’t seem that much different when compared to Mannion since McVay would most likely prefer someone with experience, and a proven track record of success.

However, maybe Fales is similar to Siemian in which he just needs a fresh start in the right system, which Los Angeles could very well end up offering him since their offense has been one of the best in the league.

Plus, one of the few positive factors over the possibility of Fales is due to his limited action, the Rams would most likely be able to sign him at a very cheap price while using some of that extra money elsewhere for other positions.
