20. Oakland Raiders

To say Jon Gruden’s first season as head coach for the Oakland Raiders was an absolute disaster would be a huge understatement since the original plan was to see this team return to the level of being a contender in the AFC.

The good news for the Raiders is despite what took place last season, this team is already generating hype over finally taking that next big step in 2019 after the offense upgraded in a big way by acquiring Antonio Brown from the Pittsburgh Steelers.

For months, all eyes were on the speedy wideout to see which team Brown would end up on for the 2019 season since the Steelers made it clear that a fresh start seemed to be best for both parties.

Now that Brown is officially on board in Oakland, Derek Carr all of a sudden has a new favorite target to work with in the passing game, as the Raiders quarterback will look to take advantage of his new teammate who caught 15 touchdown passes in 2018.

Oakland still has a long way to go when it comes to catching up with the rest of the competitors in the AFC, but at least some of the key moves along with Brown they’ve been making in the offseason are putting them on the right path.
