2019 NFL Power Rankings: Los Angeles Rams in good shape with free agency underway

11. Houston Texans
The Houston Texans deserve all of the credit in the world for turning things around last season the way they did since all hope seemed lost at the beginning of the season before the team turned things around to win the AFC South.
Of course, after watching the Texans lose the way they did to the Indianapolis Colts right away, it became clear the team had some work to do this offseason if they truly were going to compete with some of the best in the AFC.
Right away, Houston made a big move by placing the franchise tag on Jadeveon Clowney to make sure their defense would remain in great shape for 2019, and if all goes well, it seems like only a matter of time before the two sides reach an agreement for the long run.
Looking at what this team has to work with on both sides of the football, this Texans team is quite special, and seems to only be scratching the surface of their true potential with Deshaun Watson at quarterback.
Then again, when looking at some of the areas to improve on for 2019, here’s to hoping that Houston can do a better job at protection their beloved quarterback after looking at all of the big hits he took throughout his sophomore campaign.
