2019 NFL Power Rankings: Los Angeles Rams in good shape with free agency underway

9. Indianapolis Colts
Speaking of surprises, how great was it to see the Indianapolis Colts return to their winning ways last season when looking at all of the questions surrounding this team back in September?
After missing the entire 2017 season as a result of his shoulder injury taking longer to recover from, Andrew Luck was a man on a mission last year to prove there were no reasons for concern moving forward.
Colts fans were constantly holding their breath at the beginning of the year through each hit he took, but eventually Luck would show he could handle anything that opposing defenses would throw at him, no matter how brutal the hits seemed to be.
What was even more impressive to see is similar to the Texans, the Colts were able to shake off a rough start before emerging as a top contender in the AFC, and eventually earning one of the Wild Card spots.
Even more impressive, Indianapolis was able to pull off an impressive first-round win over Houston before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round. From the surprise success on the offensive line to the defense playing better than expected, the Colts have plenty to be excited about heading into 2019, as all signs point to this team being a top contender once again.
