8. Dallas Cowboys

One year after failing to live up to high expectations, the Dallas Cowboys bounced back to win the NFC East title for the second time in three seasons, and even earned an impressive win in the playoffs over the Seattle Seahawks.

Losing to the Rams in the Divisional Round was obviously frustrating for numerous reasons, but the good news for the Rams is as long as key players remain healthy, this team should be a solid contender once again in the NFC.

While the defense received plenty of credit for their surprise impact in 2018, the offense is going to be the key factor surrounding this team from a contender standpoint. Any team would love to have Ezekiel Elliott to work with in the backfield, but Dak Prescott is going to continue being the one facing the most pressure under center for the Cowboys.

Convincing Randall Cobb to come on board should make life much easier for Prescott since the former member of the Green Bay Packers seems like the perfect candidate to flourish in this kind of offense run by Dallas. It’s not going to be easy competing in the NFC East, but the Cowboys are ready for the challenge to potentially make it three times in four seasons.
