2. New England Patriots

Wasn’t it crazy to watch Tom Brady win his sixth Super Bowl as a member of the New England Patriots? Just when it seems like the Patriots are going to slow down, this team continues to find ways to win games when it matters the most, and there’s nothing Brady would love more than to add a seventh Super Bowl ring to his collection next season.

Despite some of the key losses this team has seen so far in free agency, with Trey Flowers joining the Detroit Lions near the top of the list, football fans have learned the hard way over the years how doubting New England can backfire.

As long as Brady continues to be healthy enough to run the offense, the Patriots are always going to be viewed as a top contender in the AFC, and the scary factor to think about is how the future Hall of Famer seems capable of playing at least a few more seasons.

Also, the one thing the Patriots have to love in regards to the rest of the AFC is how the other three teams don’t even seem close to being on their level at this point in the offseason, meaning it looks like New England will be in for another division title next year.
