1. Byron Murphy

As mentioned before, it was only a few years ago in which the Seahawks were considered to have one of the league’s most dangerous defenses, and it played a key role in the team being a top contender in the NFC year after year.

While the unit may not be as strong as they used to be, Seattle does have a few key weapons to work with on the defensive side of the football, but there’s always room for improvement, especially at the cornerback position.

Rightfully so, Byron Murphy is considered to be one of the top cornerbacks from the draft class in 2019, and plenty of teams will be pushing to land the Washington star, one of which will most likely be the Seahawks.

From having a great technique to his ability to read opponents, Murphy seems like the kind of cornerback that would be a great fit for Seattle on defense while helping them continue to be a threat in the NFC.

Plus, with the Rams having a trio of receivers the Seahawks always have to worry about, Murphy could help contain some of that dangerous speed Los Angeles possesses, whether it happens to be Brandin Cooks or Robert Woods since they’re both just as deadly.
