1. Rams have questions of their own in backfield

Does Brown have what it takes to handle the responsibilities of taking on a larger role if needed if Gurley continues to deal with knee issues in 2019? Sean McVay has always loved Brown as the No. 2 running back for the Rams, but the circumstances are a little different this time around.

If the NFC Championship and Super Bowl are any indication of what could happen in 2019 with Gurley, Los Angeles has every reason in the world to feel concerned. And as much as the team wants to claim they believe Gurley will be just fine, there are no guarantees when it comes to sports injuries.

At first, Anderson seemed like a strong candidate to return to the team in free agency just because of the concerns surrounding Gurley alone, which obviously didn’t turn out to be the case.

Gurley has provided the Rams with an extra advantage on offense over the last two years, but if his knee continues to be a major issue, this team could be in serious trouble.
