Round 6, Pick 203: Amani Bledsoe, DE, Oklahoma

Finding effective pass-rushers this time of year can always be a difficult challenge for teams, and while the Rams may address this need early on in the draft, no one would be surprised if they waited until the end of the draft either.

Unfortunately, most of the top edge rushers will be taken early on in the first round, but if Los Angeles were looking for a potential steal in the later rounds, Amani Bledsoe could be right up their ally.

Seeing the Oklahoma standout still available in the sixth round may seem like a stretch since plenty of other teams will most likely express interest in Bledsoe before then, but for the sake of this article, let’s assume the defensive end is available at No. 203.

Whether it’s how effective he is as a pass-rusher or simply the fact that he seemed to get better with experience at Oklahoma, Bledsoe seems like another defender that Phillips would love the opportunity to work with and develop.

Dating back to 2017, Los Angeles has done a phenomenal job at finding hidden talent in the later rounds, and maybe if they’re lucky, Bledsoe will see his name added to that impressive list while finding a way to make an impact as a rookie.
