2. Cody Ford

As previously mentioned, the Rams faced a difficult decision this offseason when they allowed Saffold hit the free agency market since they knew deep down, the veteran guard was going to be too expensive to keep around.

Without question, Saffold’s presence played a major role in the offensive line turning things around for Los Angeles over the last two seasons, and the Tennessee Titans should be thrilled over the boost he’s going to provide to their unit.

Despite the Rams preparing themselves for others to step up now that Saffold is no longer around, the team is still expected to consider the possibility of adding depth to the offensive line in the draft, depending on which players happen to still be available.

Cody Ford has received high praise for his impressive blocking ability, and if the Rams were to consider making him part of the team, this seems like another potential rookie that could make a serious impact right away.

McVay has always been known to love a good project to work with on the offensive line, and with the chance to learn from one of the best as well in Andrew Whitworth, Ford could be the kind of offensive lineman Los Angeles has been looking for this offseason.
