Todd Gurley and other members of the Los Angeles Rams are expected to talk with members of the media on Monday.

Even though Super Bowl 53 was a few months ago, some Los Angeles Rams fans are still trying to figure out exactly what is going on with Todd Gurley and his knee since the team hasn’t exactly done the best job in providing updates.

As frustrating as it was to see Gurley’s disappointing numbers from the NFC Championship and Super Bowl, it was even more frustrating to hear about a month later that the Pro Bowl running back was dealing with arthritis in his knee.

Obviously, fans would have been more understanding towards the situation if they knew this information in the postseason, but the Rams clearly dropped the ball with their updates by making it seem like all was fine with Gurley.

Los Angeles has already made it clear they will be taking a different approach with Gurley during the 2019 season since there’s so much uncertainty surrounding his knee, and the last thing they want to do is overwork him if the arthritis is going to continue causing problems.

On a positive note, at least Gurely won’t be able to avoid the topic of discussing his knee when meeting with members of the media since everyone knows that’s going to be the most popular topic.

No matter what, the least Gurley can do is be honest, and provide some sort of updates that make sense since it’s ridiculous to think about how much of a mystery this has been for months when fans should have been updated right away.

Without question, Gurley has been one of the main reasons behind the success of the Rams on offense over the last two years, and having him continue to play a big role in the backfield could make or break the unit for the 2019 season.

Yes, Los Angeles will still be in great shape with Jared Goff leading the way, but having a game-changing player like Gurley helped take a ton of pressure off the former California star under center.

The main focus for the Rams in recent weeks has been on the upcoming NFL Draft in Nashville, but at least for Monday, Gurley and his knee will be taking over the spotlight to hopefully help some fans feel a little better about the situation.
