Prior to the start of the 2018 season, Donald was already viewed as one of the best players in football. He went on to set a career high of 20.5 sacks last year, despite missing all of training camp and preseason. This shows what kind of work ethic the defensive tackle has.

One can only imagine what is running through the minds of opposing quarterbacks when they see the face of Donald on the other side of the football. The two-time reigning NFL Defensive Player of the Year winner even makes it look easy when double-teamed.

After two years in a row being unhappy with his contract situation, the Rams finally rewarded Donald with the hefty contract extension he clearly deserved before Week 1 of the 2018 NFL season. This means he’s going to continue to make a serious impact for years to come with the Rams.
