Week 5 (Away/TNF) and 14 (Home/SNF): Seattle Seahawks

No one should be surprised one bit to see the Seattle Seahawks so high on this list because if there’s any team in the NFC West that could take the division title from the Rams, Pete Carroll’s squad seems like the strongest candidate.

Throughout his career, Russell Wilson has always been one of the top quarterbacks in the league, and watching him continue to find ways to make the Seahawks strong contenders is one of the main reasons why the team recently rewarded their star with a new contract.

One year after missing out on the playoffs for the first time in his career, Wilson helped Seattle return to the postseason last year as a Wild Card team, and even almost helped the team pull off a big win on the road over the Dallas Cowboys.

In recent years, the rivalry between the Rams and Seahawks has managed to reach new levels without any signs of slowing down in 2019.

Does Seattle have what it takes to put an end to the recent streak of Los Angeles finishing on top of the division? The Rams won’t make it easy, but looking at the Seahawks and the talent they have to work with once again in 2019, this is certainly possible.
