Week 11: Chicago Bears (Home/SNF)

Looking back at the 2018 regular season, it was the Chicago Bears that gave the Rams a much needed wake-up call after their stellar defense limited Goff and company to scoring just six points, which was a complete shock at the time.

Obviously, Los Angeles knew that Soldier Field in general has always been a difficult place for opponents due to the field conditions, and Chicago’s defense was one of the best in the league for a reason, but even McVay didn’t expect things to be this bad.

This time around, it will be the Rams hosting the Bears, as the team will hope for better results while hopefully taking advantage of playing in front of their own fans.

Early assumptions make it seem like Los Angeles and Chicago will be two of the top contenders in the NFC once again for the 2019 season, meaning this game could end up having all sorts of playoff implications.

The Rams know in order to be the best, they will have to face the top teams standing in their way, and this meeting against the Bears will be another opportunity to show where McVay’s team truly stands in the competitive NFC contender picture.
