Week 7: Atlanta Falcons (Away)

Last season ended up being a complete disappointment for the Atlanta Falcons since the team went from being a strong contender heading into September to failing to even earn a Wild Card spot in the NFC.

Only time will tell when it comes to figuring out if the Falcons made the right decision keeping Dan Quinn around for another season, but at least talent wise on offense, Atlanta will have all sorts of potential once again in 2019.

Matt Ryan was already fortunate enough to have Julio Jones to rely on as his favorite target in the passing game, and with Calvin Ridley now having a year of experience under his belt, this could help take things on offense to a whole new level next season.

Not to mention, the Falcons are hopeful that Devonta Freeman can return to his dominant ways after missing most of last season due to injury.

Keep in mind that it was Atlanta back in the 2017 season that sent Los Angeles home early in the playoffs as a Wild Card team, and if this turned out to be an early playoff preview before January, would it really be that much of a surprise for football fans?
