3. Erik McCoy

As previously discussed, if the Rams are looking to add depth to the center position early on in the draft, there will be plenty of intriguing candidates to take into consideration, one of which could be Erik McCoy from Texas A&M.

Similar to Bradbury, McCoy would certainly bring a lot to the table for Los Angeles, whether it happens to be his starting experience with the Aggies or simply the impressive positioning he has on defenders.

More than ever, the pressure is on the Rams to make sure their offensive line remains in great shape when looking at the changes experienced this offseason.

Not to mention, with all of the uncertainty surrounding Todd Gurley‘s knee, Los Angeles wants to make sure their star players on offense, which also includes Jared Goff, receive the best protection possible for 2019 and beyond.

Most likely, McCoy will be a strong Day 2 candidate when it comes to the draft unless some team decides to pull out a surprise selection by taking him in the second half of the first round.

In other words, if the Rams feel confident enough in McCoy, don’t be surprised if this becomes a potential option to keep the offensive line in better shape.
