Just like a few other players on this list, Notre Dame’s Jerry Tillery is another prospect that has already been linked to the Rams after the two parties met a few months ago.

Even more exciting, Tillery made comments about how he would seem like a great fit on a defense like the Rams, making this another potential possibility worth keeping an eye on.

After setting a career high as a senior with the Fighting Irish by recording seven sacks, Tillery has every reason in the world to be thrilled over his potential in the NFL since he’s going to make one team quite happy, whether it happens to be Los Angeles or someone else.

Tillery’s strength already makes it seem like the defender has what it takes to make an immediate impact during his first NFL season in 2019.

As previously mentioned, Phillips is always open to the idea of bringing on new players to work with on the defensive side of the football, and one can only imagine how thrilled the defensive coordinator would be to have a project like Tillery to develop.
