Here are a few prospects worth keeping an eye on for the Los Angeles Rams after trading down to No. 45 in the second round.

In what really wasn’t that much of a surprise since it was kind of expected, the Los Angeles Rams decided to trade out of the first round of Thursday’s 2019 NFL Draft with the Atlanta Falcons.

While the Falcons acquired the rights to the No. 31 and No. 203 picks, the Rams were able to get No. 45 and No. 79.

When considering this move put Los Angeles in the second round when they didn’t have a pick before along with an extra third rounder, this deal actually works out great for the Rams since there will be plenty of great prospects to consider once on the clock at No. 45.

Even more exciting, Los Angeles could end up with a player they were considering at No. 31 anyway, which would make this deal with Atlanta an absolute steal.

Since Sean McVay came on board as head coach in 2017, he and Les Snead have done a phenomenal job at finding valuable talent in the middle of rounds, and it wouldn’t be a surprise if they managed to do the same during these final two days of the draft.

Before looking too far ahead though, all of the focus for the Rams at the moment is who the team could select at No. 45.
