The Los Angeles Rams came up big in the 2019 NFL Draft by filling numerous needs on both sides of the football.

For the third year in a row, the Los Angeles Rams ended up without a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, but this didn’t prevent the team from still being one of the big winners from the weekend in Nashville.

Ever since Sean McVay came on board as head coach in 2017, the Rams have earned a ton of respect across the league when it comes to finding hidden talent in the later rounds thanks to months of doing the necessary homework leading up to the event each time.

From Cooper Kupp in the third round of the draft in 2017 to hoping Joseph Noteboom (Round 3) and Brian Allen (Round 4) from a year ago turning out to be steals, Los Angeles has done an amazing job in finding success in previous drafts.

With that being said, 2019 could mark the third year in a row in which the Rams are considered one of the big winners from the draft after looking at some of the selections they ended up with.

After bouncing around a bit with numerous trades, Los Angeles ended up with eight picks total in this year’s draft, showing once again how much they value the middle picks since they only ended up with one selection in the first two rounds.

Now that the draft is officially in the books, it only seems fitting to take a closer look some of the reasons why the Rams deserve to be considered big winners once again thanks to their new additions on both sides of the football.
