San Francisco 49ers: Nick Bosa

One can only imagine how thankful the San Francisco 49ers were that things didn’t work out for Rosen in Arizona since there’s a good chance Nick Bosa would have been the top overall pick if it wasn’t for Murray.

Even before the official start of the 2018 college football season, Bosa was projected to be the top overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft, and his family history of successful football players was the perfect example as to why.

Since the Cardinals decided to focus on quarterback instead, the 49ers can’t wait to see what kind of impact Bosa will have on the defensive side of the football since this is a player who can single-handedly take over games with his presence.

The rivalry between the Rams and the 49ers was expected to take a major leap during the 2018 season with Jimmy Garoppolo officially part of the picture for the long run.

And while things didn’t play out this way as a result of Garoppolo suffering a torn ACL, at least the addition of Bosa makes the rivalry even more exciting to follow.

Maybe this time around now that Bosa is on board, San Francisco will live up to the hype from a year ago by emerging as a playoff contender in the NFC.
