Seattle Seahawks: D.K. Metcalf
Like most rookies, D.K. Metcalf has numerous areas in need of improvement before there can be any talk over the wideout becoming a serious threat in the NFL. But with Metcalf’s potential, the Seattle Seahawks have every reason to believe they earned a steal with the former Ole Miss star.
Over the last couple of months, Metcalf has become a popular player to follow leading up to the draft since the best way to describe him as a player is a freak of nature.
Injuries were one of the concerns that resulted in Metcalf slipping as far down as he did to late in the second round, but with the recent news surrounding Doug Baldwin, Seattle deserves credit for bringing in a new weapon for Russell Wilson to work with.
With Wilson’s history of helping bring out the best in the teammates around him, it seems like only a matter of time before Metcalf watches his game elevate as a result of working with the Seahawks star quarterback.
Seattle was already considered the biggest threat for Los Angeles within the NFC West, and with Metcalf on board, the defense is going to have their hands full not just in 2019, but for years to come if the rookie wideout lives up to the hype.
