1. Rodger Saffold

All good things must come to an end at some point in sports, and after nine seasons with the Rams, Rodger Saffold will be suiting up as a member of the Tennessee Titans moving forward.

Similar to the other two players already discussed, one can only imagine how difficult it was for the Rams to move on from Saffold when looking at how big of a role he’s played on the offensive line over the years.

But also, Los Angeles knew that signing Saffold to the kind of deal he was seeking would put them in a tougher spot down the road when it comes to spending big on other players, with Jared Goff immediately coming to mind.

Even during some of the rough years before McVay took over the duties as head coach, Saffold was one of the few positive factors on offense, and his presence over the last two years was one of the main reasons why the unit was able to turn things around for the Rams.

Without question, Tennessee is getting one talented veteran in Saffold, and it will take some time for the Rams to get used to him no longer being around, especially when it comes to Goff under center.
