The folks at NFL.com recently named the Los Angeles Rams one of the most complete teams heading into the 2019 season.

Over the last two years under Sean McVay, the Los Angeles Rams have established a reputation for putting together one of the top overall teams in the NFL.

From a high-powered offense led by Jared Goff and Todd Gurley to Aaron Donald taking care of business on the defensive side of the football coming off an impressive 2018 campaign in which he recorded 20.5 sacks, the sky will be the limit once again for the Rams next season.

As frustrating as it was to see Los Angeles fail to come through when it mattered the most against the New England Patriots in Super Bowl 53, there’s every reason to believe McVay’s squad will be a top contender once again in 2019 based off the talent alone.

Does this mean the Rams deserve to fall into the category of arguably having one of the top overall teams in the NFL for a third year in a row?

Well for starters, just because Los Angeles is considered one of the early favorites in the NFC doesn’t necessarily guarantee it’s going to happen since it’s only May, and the Rams haven’t even started training camp.

However, it’s tough to ignore the kind of talent the Rams will be fortunate enough to work with once again, and with NFL.com listing them as one of the most complete teams across the league, no one should be surprised one bit.

As Adam Schein points out, Los Angeles coming in at No. 2 is under the assumption that Gurley’s knee doesn’t end up being an issue in 2019, and the star running back returns to his normal ways being a nightmare for opposing defenses.

But even beyond Gurley, the Rams absolutely deserve the honor of having one of the most complete teams since any coach would love to be in the position McVay finds himself in with all of that talent to work with on both offense and defense.

Les Snead certainly deserves a ton of credit for how quickly the general manager has helped Los Angeles become a legitimate contender in the NFC, and what’s even more exciting is seeing how well this team is built for years to come.
