2. Aaron Lynch

When it comes to some of the most underrated members on defense for the Bears last season, Aaron Lynch deserves to rank near the top of the list, which is part of the reason the team was willing to bring the linebacker back for another year.

Lynch may not have been happy over signing a one-year deal instead of a long-term contract, but also if all goes well in 2019, everyone knows this could eventually lead to a larger deal down the road.

By only starting three of 13 games played in last season, Lynch is one of those players Chicago could afford to move on from since the argument can be made their decision to re-sign him for only one year shows he may not be part of the long-term plans.

So if a team like the Rams were looking to add some extra depth at linebacker, and would be willing to offer the Bears a future draft pick, why wouldn’t this be taken into consideration?

Someone like Lynch wouldn’t become a starter on Los Angeles right away since the team is set with other players like Dante Fowler Jr. and Clay Matthews, but also keep in mind the linebacker position has some questions beyond 2019 for this team.

After two seasons in a row of earning one-year deals, maybe Lynch could finally earn that long-term deal he most likely has been searching for from a team like the Rams if the interest were there.
