Here are three trade targets the Los Angeles Rams could consider from the Atlanta Falcons before training camp arrives in July.

Despite the Atlanta Falcons missing out on the playoffs last season, the Los Angeles Rams know that from a talent perspective, this could be far from the case in 2019.

Originally, the Falcons seemed to be a strong candidate to earn a trip to the playoffs for a third year in a row, but unfortunately the team ended up watching from home after finishing the 2018 season with a 7-9 record.

The good news for Atlanta is with players like Devonta Freeman expected to return to full strength along with Matt Ryan having plenty of other talent to work with on offense like Julio Jones, there’s a good chance the Falcons could return to being a playoff contender in the NFC.

If this does end up happening in 2019, there’s even the chance of the Rams facing the Falcons down the road in January when it matters the most in January, but there’s no reason to jump that far ahead just yet since it’s not even training camp.

Instead, why not have a little fun by thinking about potential trade scenarios between these two teams since Atlanta has a few players who could easily help provide some depth for Los Angeles at a few positions.

Even if the Falcons haven’t expressed any interest in trading some of these players, keep in mind the Rams have been known to pull off surprise deals out of nowhere before over the last few seasons, so nothing should be ruled out when it comes to Sean McVay‘s squad.
