1. Jack Doyle

Thank goodness Eric Ebron was there at tight end for the Colts in 2018 after Jack Doyle was limited to playing in just six games while dealing with numerous injuries since it helped take a ton of pressure off Luck on offense.

Of course, after watching Ebron become a reliable target for Luck the way he did during his first season in Indianapolis, does this mean the team would be more willing to move on from Doyle if given the opportunity?

Well, it may sound crazy to consider, but it should be noted that Doyle is entering the final year of his contract, and the Colts could always take that into consideration since it would be better to receive a potential draft pick in return instead of the risk that comes with losing him in 2020.

Back in 2017, Doyle earned his first career trip to the Pro Bowl after catching a career high 80 passes, and one can only imagine what he would be able to accomplish in 2019 now that Luck has proven to be fully healthy.

As for the Rams, well clearly they would welcome a tight end with Doyle’s talent on board with open arms, even if it mean the team would need to move on from one of their current tight ends like Tyler Higbee.

With all due respect to Higbee, Doyle would be an upgrade at the position for the Rams, and it’s not even close to debating when comparing the two on paper.
