3 trade targets Rams should consider from Dolphins in 2019 before training camp

2. Kiko Alonso
Early on when Kiko Alonso was a member of the Buffalo Bills, the linebacker made a strong case for being one of the next big players at his position across the league, which is why Miami believed they were getting a steal back in 2016.
After Alonso’s first and only season with the Philadelphia Eagles turned out to be a complete bust, the Dolphins were hoping a fresh start on a new team would help the linebacker live up to his true potential.
Three years later, the argument can be made that Alonso hasn’t exactly been playing on the level Miami needs him to be on, and with the amount of money still remaining on his contract over the next two seasons, the Dolphins should consider whether he would be worth it.
While the Rams made out well this offseason by re-signing Dante Fowler Jr. along with convincing Clay Matthews to come on board to provide some veteran experience, Los Angeles could still use depth at the position for the 2019 season.
And who knows, maybe Alonso would even find a way to return to his explosive level from 2013 if the Rams were to ever consider bringing him on board, although there’s no reason to jump that far ahead just yet.
