1. Mike Gesicki

Could the Rams potentially move on from one of their current tight ends, and bring someone else on board?

Since there has been some chatter going on this offseason over the possibility of the Rams considering Tyler Higbee to use in a trade, maybe there would be hope for the Dolphins to give up former Penn State star Mike Gesicki.

These days, it’s uncommon for teams to move on from young talent after only one season, meaning Los Angeles would most likely have to make Miami an offer they couldn’t refuse if the interest were there for Gesicki.

The Dolphins used a second-round pick on Gesicki during the draft in 2017 with the hope of the tight end providing another effective weapon to work with on offense, but catching just 22 passes in 16 games (seven starts) shows Miami didn’t utilize him as much.

With Sean McVay having a history of developing tight ends, just imagine what the Rams could do with someone like Gesicki.

Based off last year’s rookie experience, Gesicki clearly still has plenty to work on before he’s considered a top tight end in the league, but the patience and potential makes it seem like this would all be worth it.
