2. Larry Ogunjobi

Without question, the decision by the Rams to move on from Ndamukong Suh this offseason was the right one since to spend that kind of money on a veteran player again when comparing his production just simply wouldn’t be worth it.

Plus, with Los Angeles currently having other players such as Tanzel Smart and Greg Gaines willing to step up in Suh’s absence, the Rams realize deep down their defense will be absolutely fine in 2019.

Not to mention, with Aaron Donald continuing to find new ways to elevate his game after setting a new career high of 20.5 sacks in 2018, Los Angeles should be in for another big year on defense once again.

As for how the Browns could come into play here, well if the Rams were looking to add depth on defense, the one player worth considering that could come at a favorable price is Larry Ogunjobi at defensive tackle.

After limited action as a rookie in 2017, the former third-round pick stepped up in a big way during his sophomore campaign last year by starting all 16 games for the Browns while recording 5.5 sacks in the process.

Cleveland may not be willing to give up on a young player on the rise like Ogunjobi with his potential, but since a hefty contract could come into play down the road, if the Browns weren’t up for paying the defender, trading for a future draft pick is always an option.
