3. Kelechi Osemele

Will Joseph Noteboom be able to handle the pressure of being the new starter at left guard in 2019 since this was part of the reason behind their decision to draft him last year?

More from Ramblin' Fan

Obviously, the Rams wouldn’t put Noteboom in this kind of position if they didn’t believe the youngster was capable of being a starter, but also a backup plan never hurts.

After spending the last three years with the Oakland Raiders, the Jets acquired Kelechi Osemele in March to provide Sam Darnold with better protection on the offensive line.

Similar to the Rams a few years ago, the Jets finally seem confident in Darnold being the quarterback they’ve patiently been waiting for, and protecting the former USC star is going to be more important than ever heading into the 2019 season.

Some will question why New York would ever consider trading a player who has yet to play a single game with the team, but also the Jets did sign Jordan Morgan this offseason as well.

Morgan is nowhere near the same level at the moment as Osemele, but at least this shows the Jets would be in better position with the offensive line if a trade were to become a possibility.
