2. Jonotthan Harrison

Similar to the situation with Noteboom, the Rams expect Brian Allen to see an increased role during his second NFL season in 2019 now that John Sullivan is no longer part of the picture.

As difficult as it was to move on from the veteran center, Sullivan’s production being on the decline towards the end of last season verifies this was the right decision.

Of course, just because Los Angeles feels confident in Allen being ready to move into the starting role doesn’t necessarily mean it’s guaranteed to work, which is where the backup idea comes into play again.

Despite spending the last two seasons with the Jets, Jonotthan Harrison took a major leap in 2018 by starting eight of the 16 games appeared in.

Once again, the whole question of why New York would trade someone like Harrison since Darnold needs all of the protection possible, but also if Los Angeles would be willing to offer a solid draft pick in return, it could be worth it for the Jets.

Most importantly for the Rams, a move for Harrison would provide the offensive line with some extra depth, and put them in better position before training camp arrives at the end of July.
