Rightfully so, the Los Angeles Rams came in at No. 4 of a recent list for the most talented teams heading into the 2019 season.

Over the last two years, the Los Angeles Rams have worked their way into becoming one of the most talented teams in the NFL after earning back-to-back NFC West titles along with a trip this past winter to the Super Bowl.

Losing the way they did to the New England Patriots was obviously difficult for the Rams to accept since it was embarrassing to watch the team fail to score a single touchdown, but hopefully this can be used as motivation to build upon moving forward.

Talent wise, Los Angeles has every right to be viewed as one of the top contenders in the NFC heading into the 2019 season when looking at what Sean McVay has to work with on both sides of the football.

As for where the Rams rank compared to other teams in regards to most talent, well it shouldn’t be a surprise this is one of those topics that’s always fun to debate.

A few days ago, Gil Brandt put together a list for NFL.com of what he believes is the most talented teams in the league heading into the 2019 season, with the Rams coming in at No. 4, only trailing the Chicago Bears, Dallas Cowboys, and Philadelphia Eagles.

From Jared Goff having a trio of receivers to work with along with Todd Gurley and a reliable offensive line to Aaron Donald leading the way on the defensive side of the football, it seems fair to have the Rams at No. 4 on Brandt’s list.

Maybe if there weren’t so many questions surrounding Gurley’s knee and Los Angeles actually showed up in Super Bowl 53 to defeat New England, the Rams would have ended up a little higher on the list.

Before football fans know it, the beginning of training camp and preseason will officially be here to provide a better idea of where the Rams stand before the real action begins in September.

Finishing ahead of other competitive teams like the Cowboys and Eagles certainly won’t be easy, but also with the achievements accomplished by the Rams over the last two seasons, this team seems ready for the challenge.
