2. Jordan Evans

Believe it or not, linebacker is a an area the Rams could still use some depth since there are some questions beyond the 2019 season.

Take a look at Dante Fowler Jr. for example, and how the former first-round pick is playing on a “prove it” deal this year with the hope of earning a long-term contract down the road.

As great as it is to hear Fowler’s hope and desire to stick around Los Angeles for the long run, the team is smart enough to know there are no guarantees in this league, meaning it’s better to be safe than sorry.

Jordan Evans is nowhere near the same level as some of the other linebackers currently on the Rams roster, but the former Oklahoma star seems like the kind of player that would benefit from developing on a defense like Los Angeles.

Thanks to some offseason moves, Evans is projected to be a starter for the Bengals at the moment, but also Cincinnati knows he still needs to earn the gig by putting together a successful training camp and preseason.

From a depth perspective, acquiring Evans seems like it would be a great move for the Rams, and would most likely only cost a future late-round pick.
