5. Aqib Talib

Depending on whether Aqib Talib decides to keep playing after the 2019 season since the veteran cornerback isn’t getting any younger, this will be an interesting situation worth monitoring for the Rams.

Throughout his career, Talib has proven to be one of the most valuable cornerbacks in the NFL, and if there’s any desire for him to continue playing beyond the 2019 season, there’s a good chance Los Angeles considers bringing him back.

Football fans can say whatever they want about how much of a headache Talib can be at times, but the veteran makes up for it from his talent alone.

Plus, one of the key factors surrounding Talib is how his experience over the years could help mentor some of the younger Rams cornerbacks, which will most likely come into play as well when the time comes to decide.

Another solid year or two with Talib beyond 2019 seems like a perfect scenario for Los Angeles since they know this may be all he has left in him.

Talib was brought on board during the 2018 offseason when the Rams were taking the approach of win-now mode, and his presence alone should have a major impact during his second year with the team to keep the defense in great shape.
