4. Cory Littleton

Once Cory Littleton officially signed his tender this offseason, the Rams knew they were getting the linebacker at an absolute steal for the 2019 season with the possibility of having to open up their checkbook down the road.

Last season was filled with plenty of exciting surprise surrounding Los Angeles, and near the top of that list was the impact made by Littleton on the defensive side of the football.

Originally, linebacker was one of the areas with a few questions for the Rams on defense, and even though Littleton didn’t solve all their problems, it was amazing to see him go on to earn Pro Bowl honors for the first time.

Obviously, Littleton didn’t play in the actual game since Los Angeles was too busy playing in the Super Bowl, but hopefully this is just the first of many honors for the Washington product.

As long as Littleton continues to play at a high level similar to last season in which he started every game for the Rams while finishing with three interceptions, four sacks, and 125 combined tackles, the big payday will come.

But knowing the Rams, it wouldn’t be a surprise if Littleton ended up being one of those players who received a new deal sooner to get it out of the way just to make sure he remains happy with the team while avoiding competition with other teams possibly signing him later on.
