1. Jared Goff

With the Philadelphia Eagles rewarding Carson Wentz with a ridiculous four-year extension worth $128 million, one can only imagine how much Goff was smiling when hearing the news.

All due respect to Goff since the Rams quarterback has seen plenty of success over the last two seasons, may believe that Wentz is the better quarterback when healthy.

But that’s simply been the main issue surrounding Wentz and the Eagles over the last two seasons since the torn ACL from 2017 along with back issues last year have prevented the Philadelphia star from living up to his true potential.

Now that Wentz has received a hefty pay raise, Goff will most likely use his draft classmate’s contract as leverage for when the time comes for Los Angeles to reward him with a new deal.

Goff certainly deserves a ton of credit for taking the proper approach with the situation by saying he’s not really concerned over when the deal will come, but is that believable deep down?

After watching some of his teammates already get rewarded with hefty extensions dating back to last season, the Rams may not be able to wait that much longer with Goff, even if he is technically under contract through 2020.
