1. Rams avoid any future drama over contracts

No matter what professional sport it happens to be, contract situations are unavoidable for most teams, and the ones that take care of it early on tend to benefit the most.

As mentioned before, the Rams seemed to be pretty confident that an extension for both McVay and Snead would be taking place sooner rather than later based off their success from the last two seasons alone, but even Friday’s news was a bit surprising.

Since Los Angeles was kind enough to reward their beloved head coach and general manager, the Rams no longer have to worry about either individual being unhappy over their contract situation, at least until 2023 rolls around.

Clearly, the Rams realized the importance of making sure this duo wouldn’t even consider the possibility of joining another team down the road with a better offer, and now that it’s official, most of the attention can shift to another potential Super Bowl run.

What McVay and Snead have been able to accomplish over the last two seasons in Los Angeles has truly been amazing to witness. And the best part is, these two seem to be only scratching the surface of the true potential surrounding this amazing Rams team.
